Many sources confirm a big asteroid is coming toward the earth. It isn't rumored like 2012. Many people post many video clips and article on this celestial object. The official name of this asteroid is 52768(1998 OR2). There are many questions raised in your brain about this object. Let's go!! we are going to give brief discussion about this asteroid.

What is Asteroids?

The asteroids are small Rocky objects. They are much smaller than planets with not any perfect shape like planets. They are in different forms and irregular shapes. They are situated in the orbit of the sun. In our solar system most of the asteroid present in the asteroid belt that is located between Mars and Jupiter. It made from the formation of Gas clouds and Dust. Sometimes, they are part of some planet that were destroyed.

Is it dangerous?

Billions years ago one asteroid hit the earth and all dinosaurs species were died. That asteroid hit very hard to the earth and made 20 KM deep soak and it wipes out all creatures in the range of 800 KM. This event makes sense, is this object becomes the reason for the end of human civilization? 

About asteroid(52768):-

52768 is the biggest asteroid that coming on 29 April 2020. The size of this rock is as big as the Himalayas with an estimated size of 2,000 feet. Moreover, the asteroid is traveling at a speed of 17.1 kilometers per sec and 61,500 kilometers per hour. Distance between an asteroid and the earth is almost 16 times more than the earth to the moon.

NASA theory:-

NASA confirms this 52768 passes by the earth at the expected safe distance of 1.1 million miles(1.8 million kilometers). This distance is about 4.6 times the distance from the earth to the moon. In addition to it, NASA found this asteroid in 1998 then after many scientists started researching on it.

Although, there is no possibility for an asteroid collides with our planet. Even it will not enter the earth's atmosphere. This object is not The closet approach of this asteroid for the earth is about 400 years. The direction of this asteroid is to the sun so it will become visible in the night sky after April 2019. With a small optical telescope, people will see it two nights before it fades and distance will increase rapidly.

NASA also declares this asteroid 52768 do hazardous activities like the air-burst(explosion in the sky) which is very dangerous to see because it produced flash that is 30 times brighter than the sun. Chelyabinsk in Russia 70 cases reported temporary blindness and 180 cases that caused eye pain.
