Nal Sarovar is basically a wildlife sanctuary that accommodates the plethora species of birds and plants. It is located near Sanand village which is 65 kilometers far from Ahmadabad. There are lot's of birds migrate here from all across the globe. So, from now we discuss some facts and figures about Nal Sarovar.

Nal Sarovar covers the area of  120.82 square-kilometer & many
diversified species of plants and birds are live here. It is open for all the days of the week and the time limit is 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM.


Nal Sarovar is declared birds sanctuary in April 1969 after that it becomes the widest place for tourists. Around 65,000 local and foreign tourists come to visit this place every year. In India there are 3 types of seasons like winter, summer, and monsoon however, winter and summer seasons are the best seasons because in this period international birds migrate here. approximate 210 different birds species attract by a lake. this place consists of a variety of birds like flamingos, white storks, rosy pelicans and many more in addition to it, it is the best place to see SUNSET and SUNRISE.

different species migrate here at different times like flamingos comes in march starting, black-winged stilt comes in may ending so all the birds have their optimal time for visiting. thousands of birds come here from December to monsoon. all these birds are coming from UAE, Oman, and Siberia.

Description of Nal Sarovar:-  

There are many ways to reach Nal Sarovar like buses, cabs, private vehicles and many more. If people are planning for a long trip and they live in the nearby area so they can go by private vehicles like cars and bikes and etc. Moreover, for foreign people many sites and tourism are available so, it isn't the problem anymore. They arrange all the facilities.

 Once you reach over there you have to purchase the tickets for the entry in Nal Sarovar. Ticket price like

  1. 100 Rs for Camera 
  2. 40 Rs per person
  3. 10 Rs for 2 wheeler
  4. 20 to 50 Rs for 4 wheeler
After you entered you have to pay extra for boating, it has different charges and all the charges take by its location.


 Well, there are six locations that have different specialties. 

 Initial charges for boating are 300 Rs and if people want to explore in all lakes the charges raise to 1500 - 3600 Rs.

 Boating experience is mesmerizing for people it is a true nature trip. anyone can feel relax after reaching over.
After visiting Nal Sarovar you can visit many resorts where you can stay at night, play many games and take a meal. Some of them have swimming pools and exotic rooms. There are around 3 to 4 resorts in the 15-kilometer range of Nal Sarovar. However, Nal Sarovar has its own resort that is placed at nearby Nal Sarovar.
