6 Best Places To Experience In Amazing Kerala

Hey guys, here I am going to share my experience of the Kerala tour, which was really tremendous. Here, I have described some places which I had visited last year's Diwali festival.

Before describing these places I want to share some great information about the route of Ahmedabad to Thiruvananthpuram(Kerala) by train. The rail route is passing through a Western line of India, In this line train passing through 4 states. Which are Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa & Karnataka this route is covered with mountains, big rivers, ocean, and many tunnels.

The places which I had visited are: -

1. Hawa Beach, Kovalam

Hawa beach lies opposite to the lighthouse beach. Tourists claim it to be the most beautiful beach in Kovalam. This Kovalam beach is enhanced by the stack of palm grooves which reward a unique elegance to this place. Hawa beach is separated from other beaches by the foreland of Edakkalu. From here, you can get the majestic view of the sunset at its apex grace. After the sunset, the calm cove of waters on the beach provides a visual charm of moonlight nights. Kovalam is renowned for the ayurvedic massage parlors here and the herbal treatments available are really affordable.

2. Padmnabhswamy Temple(Trivandrum)

Shree Padmanabha Swamy temple is located in Trivandrum(Thiruvananthpuram). Embellished in gold plated covering, the temple is opened for only Hindu followers. Although the origin of this temple still remains a mystery, devotees it to have existed since the first day of kali yuga, which was 5000 years ago. To enter in this temple, the local dress known as Lungi is mandatory to wear. if you are not wearing Lungi and tries to enter a temple you're discarded by the local police.

3. Poovar Iceland

Unspoiled and Unexplored, enveloped by the most serene backwaters, and opening out to the Arabian sea and a dream golden sand beach. Here the well-known thing is Poovar resorts which are a totally floating resort. It is truly a window into paradise. Built on 25 acres of lush green coconut gardens alongside the beach. Located 30 km from Trivandrum International Airport, The resort is accessible only by a 10-minute boat ride on the river.

4. Allepey(Alappuzha)

Allepey is also famous by its former name Alappuzha. It is known for its wide network of interlinking, palm-fringed canals called BACKWATERS and ayurvedic resorts. Allepey is also popular for its houseboats cruises that pass through the serene backwaters, where you can catch glimpses of green paddy fields. Towards the shore lies the Alleppey beach in the Arabian sea, a beautiful example of the gems you would find along the Malabar coast. Here, the backwater boat ride gives you an amazing experience.

5. Thekkady

Thekkady is popular for Periyar Tiger Reserve, Elephant safari, Boat safari, martial arts, Kathakali and local market of spices. To explore and enjoy all of these amazing places and things properly, you must have to 2-3 days. All of these are payable and all of these place visits are included in different packages. The elephant ride, boat ride at Periyar reserve, Kathakali and martial arts all have one-hour duration.

Here, you can do Jeep safari at mountains of Thekkady, there are more than different packages for Jeep safari. One of these packages includes only Thekkady mountain visit, second contains Kerala border mountain visit.

The route of this Jeep safari is amazing and passing through the tea gardens and mountain, and you can see the Sunrise between the two mountains which is tremendous and you can click amazing pictures of yours and beautiful place.

6.Munnar

Munnar is famous for its tea gardens, greeneries and also for spices. Here, you can see everywhere tea gardens and spices gardens. The visiting places are the Mattupetty dam, the Echo point as well as the local market, Top station, and Tea museum.
